HALO App Privacy Policy

Your privacy and security are our top priorities. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Data Collection

  • We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our App.
  • Emails and phone numbers are necessary for authorization to use the App and be identified for security purposes.
  • We collect your location for purposes of knowing where to send drone security assistance if needed.

2. Use of Data

  • We use the collected data for various purposes: to provide and maintain the App, to notify you about changes, and to provide customer support.
  • Your information is never provided to third-parties for purposes of solicitation of any kind; however, certain information about your location may be provided to assist in sending drone assistance from one of our supported flight platform providers.

3. Third-Party Disclosure

  • We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our App. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf.
  • Google mapping services are used to render visualizations of you in relation to your surroundings as well as drone location.
  • AWS Cloud services are used to house the App data and power the App execution.

4. Security of Data

  • The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
  • The App utilizes HTTPS to encrypt all traffic between you and the App's server.
  • Your username and password and other Personal Identifying Information (PII) are secured by AWS Cognito and not available directly to the App support staff.

5. Links to Other Sites

  • Our App does not currently contain links to other sites that are not operated by us.

6. Children's Privacy

  • Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13.
